Implausibly

 

Gracefully, smoothly she walks across the room

Which she has tidied efficiently, calmly and 

stylishly

 

Effortlesly she sits down and turns on her laptop

Which starts silently, 

speedily

 

Systematically she reads her emails 

And replies to all issues promptly 

and sensibly

 

Politely and responsibly

And above all -

 

not at all hysterically

green sheep

I would be a green sheep in a green field

 

If I close my eyes you can’t see me at all

 

I can creep up, invisible, and POUNCE

Then run away and hide amongst some trees

Or do headstands - wave my tiny cloven feet

Around like leafy emeralds in the breeze

 

Or wander off - you won’t know that I’ve gone

Somewhere down the lane returning through

The same hole in the fence I used before

With sacks of turnips from the field next door

 

My fleece is useless to you - it would have

To go for bleaching to be suitable

For suiting though it might

Make mufflers for poachers in the night

 

A green sheep is the thing to be

I am Peritdotious, Cyanidic, Chlorian

I’m Vegetal and Lawnyfleeced and Turfed

I'm Viridian, Invisib ...

                             ...     le-in-fields.

I am Grasseous, Chromacious and Chartreuse
